Lovely little country cottage in a modern, adult-focused community. Tucked into a quiet little cul-de-sac, it is just a short walk to the beautiful clubhouse and all its many amenities--a large 75' x 45' swimming pool, an amazing walking resistance pool, an inside resistance lap pool, a work-out gym with state of the art equipment and a Jacuzzi hot tub that will hold as many as 6-8 people at one time. The Sandbar is well stocked with liquor, beer and soda—as well as hot and cold snacks. If you want a Margarita or a Pina Colada—or any one of those fun cocktails that the bartenders love to make—you’ll be all set. The pickle ball and tennis courts are just up the hill from the Clubhouse and there is a 9-hole putting green for those who love golf—and for the beginners who want to learn. For those who have children aged 18 and under, you will be able to enjoy the family pool which you will see as soon as you enter the community—and that includes a tiny pool for the babies as well.
The cottage itself can sleep six people comfortably and includes two bedrooms with spacious closets, dressers, chest of drawers and night tables. The kitchen is fully equipped with every possible cooking item. No need to pack any utensils or bedding. The Seaglass management provides all paper goods and linens including bathroom towels and freshly-laundered sheets for all the beds. There is, of course, a dishwasher, microwave , pots and pans, small appliances --toaster, blender, mixer—the list is endless---and even includes a huge lobster pot! For your laundry needs, there is a washer/dryer, an iron and a small ironing board.
The living room is fully furnished and contains a sleeper sofa that accommodates two people. There is internet access, a flat-screen TV and DVD player along with lots of movie DVDs, board games, books and puzzles for those infrequent rainy days.
The front porch is enclosed and includes a table for dining, six chairs, as well as comfortable side chairs and a second TV.
The outside yard has a lovely seating area under the beautiful Maine evergreen trees, ideal for your morning cup of coffee or your afternoon glass of wine.
The Seaglass community is right in the middle of everything. Ogunquit with its quaint little town, sandy beach, renowned Playhouse and fabulous restaurants and museums is two minutes away to the south. Kennebunkport, the adorable little seaside village with its many restaurants, lovely beaches and unique shops (and home to our former president) is ten minutes away to the north. Trolleys run regularly every day so you don’t even have to take your car.
